Dish Network DVR showing black & white

This is really strange, I recently hooked up my TV2 to a Sony TV (circa 1995). I was using an old Toshiba TV and everything worked great. As soon as I hooked up my Sony all my DVR events (including recorded programs, pausing and rewinding shows) start to play in Black and White. Live TV looks perfect.

how do you have your 522 connected to your TV?
If it's on the rf channel , then try fine tunning your TV channel on the TV(with the afc off) to bring back the color while you're playing an 522 event.

I had the same problem with a customer's 625 the other day, live tv is fine but dvr events played back black and white. Nothing fixed the problem, tried front panel and hard resets, checked for current software, etc. Finally I just had to swap out the box.
