DISH Network Charges Forward With Another Round of National HD Channel Launches

So in terms of National HDs, what does that leave that DirecTV has that Dish doesn't?

I am guessing Starz channels, Nickelodeon HD?

And before somebody jumps in about sports channels, we all know Dish doesn't have the baseball and football, but I am just interested in National HD channels.

Anyone else find it strange that they listed 4 channels that have been live for a while now? (NESN, CNN, USA and Sci-Fi)? Looks like the list is missing 5 channels from the reported temps list: Mojo, Showtime 2, Showtime West, WGN Superstation, and TMC East.

Anyone else find it strange that they listed 4 channels that have been live for a while now? (NESN, CNN, USA and Sci-Fi)? Looks like the list is missing 5 channels from the reported temps list: Mojo, Showtime 2, Showtime West, WGN Superstation, and TMC East.

I suspect these will be launched later this month.

The launch for the Monday hd will be in the afternoon??

I assume it takes as long as a Wednesday, i.e. between 1:00pm and 2:00pm EDT.

Fox and DISH are in a lawsuit battle, so we won't be seeing any Fox channels in the near future....including FOX News, or FoxBizNews

I could be wrong, but they may not have had a press release about the initial releases, and so they are just doing a big bang of 22.

Fuel hd, MTVhd, Cmt hd, Vh1 hd, Spike hd, Fox Business News hd, Several premium channels in hd.

This is a big leap for Dish though

No its not strange due to I think they are sticking to the list of channels they mentioned a couple of weeks ago. So the 3 they added make up part of the 25 they mentioned before.

I'm sure I may be alone, but I'm so happy about The Tennis Channel HD channel!!!! I had been thinking of going to Direct if Dish didn't have this channel by the start of the French Open but now I don't have to worry about it!!!!!
