I recently had my 811 receiver removed and it worked just fine with caller ID as does my 622. When I replaced the 811 I also had another 211 installed in a different room.
The problem I am having is with caller ID. Neither unit will display a call until either the person hangs up or the call is answered. By that time it is to late.
I have had the Dish Newwork tech come in and even he scratches his head in dismay. I have since sent a email twice to Dish Network letting them know they have a software/hardware issue with the 211 and caller ID. I was told they are researching the issue.
Like I said my 622 works just fine and so did my 811 so it is NOT with the phone company and the Dish Network tech can attest to that.
Has anybody else on the forum come across this issue and is there a cure? I suggested to Dish Networ since they cannot seem to resolve this issue they suppy me with 2- 622 receivers and not allow me to use the DVR function as I am not about to pay for more than one DVR in the house.
