The winds are starting to pick up and I am now leaving work to go home and take the dishes down. I am going to leave the 6' from sadoun up and see how it does. The storm is not a very powerful one, but I'm not taking any chances with the 90cm Motor setup. Wish me luck!!!

I'm sure you know this, but I used a marker to make lines from the mount to the pole so I could just line up the lines when reinstalling. Saves the trouble of re-aiming everything.

Good Luck!

Good luck, but I would take the 6 foot dish down if you could. I live where the eye hit in Florida last year. Don't play games with mother nature. I saw the wind rip many roof tops off, tear apart many screen rooms, turn over many tractor trailers, break my mahogany tree in the center of the trunk and toss 25 feet of tree 50 yards until it hit another tree and stopped. The list goes on and on.

Above all, stay safe.. Joe

Thanks guys,

All is well, the highest winds were about 50Mph for about the last 12-14 hours. The six footer survived and has no visible damage. The 90cm came inside the house and all I have to do is stick it back up this afternoon.

The coolsat arrived from ShawnGT yesterday, it is fast as hell. Thnaks again Shawn, I hope to scan the skys better tonight. :D
