Dish IR Remote codes for Sony STRDE897 Home Theater Receiver

I've tried all the codes Dish lists but none of them work. Thought possibly someone has the same receiver. As a last resort I can try a scan but that's a long drawn out process.

What is your remote model? It can be found on the back at the top (something like 6.3 or 21.0)

Edit: you posted the 20.0 model before.

If you can't get the codes to work, and you still have the Sony remote, you can try to "teach" the dish remote the commands. Here is a link for how to do learning mode.

did you also put in the "1" or "2" before the code? i had to do that when i had to program my amp to my remote... i forgot which one it is but im sure someone here will post which one it is shortly

Did a Google search and it referenced an old Satellite Guy forum thread which indicated the Sony receiver has a mode setting which must be made to allow other IR remotes. Sony default is AV2 must be set to AV1. Now works with code 730. Thanks for your help.
