Dish HD MPEG-4 question

Is ESPN and all supposed to be on 110 still?

Yes. They coding was changed to MPEG4, but they are still at 110.

Ok, thank you for the quick response. I was curious because I get Dish through another provider and I was just wondering if mine was converted to MPEG4 or if I was still stuck with the old MPEG2 station.

Check it anytime on your own. With no outputs recording or viewed, select the station and press menu-6-1-1 to get the point dish screen. The satellite and the particular transponder are shown.

There are no HD MPEG-2 channels anymore and no SD MPEG-4 channels on 110/119/129 nor likely on 61.5.

If the channel is live or still recording, you can press the info button twice and it gives the sat location on the screen.
