Dish HD-DVR PSIP question

I'm a Top 60 subscriber (+HD pack) who recently moved to Top 60 Plus. I'm comfortable enough with my OTA reception. Due to this, I'm considering moving to the Top 120 and cancelling my locals - effectively the same price, with a gain in progamming.
However, I am aware of Dish's current PSIP strategy for their HD receivers, and therein lies my question...
I'm on DHA with an 811 now, but would like to upgrade to an HD DVR in 2006, which is the cause of my concern. Do I still need to sub to locals to get the OTA program data (and presumably be able to do NBR)? I'm not sure how my 811 handles this now (I could turn off the sat locals and find out), but it could be a deal-breaker, obviously. Ideally, I'd like to see the PSIP data, but if they won't allow the hardware to pass it, it'd seem that I'd NEED that guide data.
I sincerely hope that this isn't an issue, but saw posts in another thread which gave me the impression that this might be the case, with at least some of the new Dish HD hardware. Obviously if the HD DVR follows this trend remains to be seen.
Thanks, in advance.

The 811 will collect the guide data from the sats if you subscribe to locals or not, that is not the case with the other HD receivers the 921, and 942. If you want program data on those you need to keep the locals. Not sure how the new 211/411/622 will work but thats what you have now.

Same as the 811 or the 921/942?

Per the TechPortal HDTV FAQ:
A subscription to a DISH Network local package must be active on the account in order to receive programming information for off air analog and digital local channels on models 211/411, 921 and 942.
