I want to install a Hopper 3 and wireless Joey setup on my RV. I have a Wally system now, but I want to use the wireless feature in the Hopper/Joey setup to get high def all over the coach. The RV is a little older so I don't have HDMI and want to preserve the coax for OTA and RV park cable service. So here is my question: Where is a good source to purchase the equipment from? Dish won't work because they are setup for home install (need an address). Any other advice on installing this setup is very much appreciated. I have just had enough with the distorted screen resolutions and poor pictures. I have a Dish Winegard traveler satellite dish.

Solid Signal is definitely a good source. eBay is another good source if you choose reliable sellers. The ones with 1,000+ sales at 99% satisfaction are usually pretty safe...
Thanks. Here is more of a technical question before I purchase. My Winegard travler dish is about 3 years old. Dual LMB versus the latest model of triple LMB. I know I have to do more than direct couple a single cable feed (switch, etc.); but are there any mobile sats that are not compatible with the equipment??? Ive seen references to the pro Winegard working, but not other dish models.

What model is your Trav'ler? The Dish western arc uses three satellites and has for a lot longer than 3 years. There are no Trav'ler models with automatic eastern arc aiming and off hand, I don't recall any dual LNB Trav'ler models at all.
The advantages to owning your receivers are:
- You can deactivate them and reactivate them whenever you want, in order to save on equipment fees.
- You do not have to return them to Dish when you are done with them.
- You can resell them when you are done with them, to get back at least some of the money that you paid for them.
- Starting this year, you now get lower monthly equipment fees with purchased receivers than you would pay with leased ones.

I was completely wrong. It is the triple LNB Trav'ler with the black dish. Sounds like I am good to go with a DPH42 and power inserter. That correct????

They used to be the same, but this is something new this year. A new law no longer allows Dish to charge "leased" receiver fees on purchased receivers. So, to make the fee structure clearer, and to show at least an effort to comply with the new law, Dish has changed the terminology they use for purchased receiver fees. Now, purchased receivers will show up on the bill as "access for an additional TV" under add-ons, instead of being listed with the equipment fees like leased receivers are. These "add-on" receiver fees for purchased receivers are now lower than the old fees were. Leased receivers continue to be charged the old fees.

I had a question that I hope someone can answer. I already had a hopper 3 system with the EA hybrid lnb. I purchased another hopper 3 and a DPH 42 switch and got everything hooked up. Both hopper 3’s are working, but after the fact I read that the DPH 42 switch will not work with hybrid lnb’s. My system is working so I would like to know if there is a problem for me to continue running the system with the hybrid lnb’s or if I need to change them. Thank you
The DPH 42 is not needed to use a DPH LNB with an H3. Apparently using it does work, but it's not required since you're basically unnecessarily converting a hybrid LNB to a hybrid LNB.
