Dish comparison/testing data from 2006

Greetings everyone,

I came across this when I was looking for gain and beamwidth specs on my Primestar 84E dish:

It was from 2006 but what do you guys think? Apparently, my Primestar 84E did pretty well
in these measurements. It has served me for years as my only FTA receive dish.

Note to Moderators: I tried to find an appropriate category for something that is borderline
technical discussion. This was the only place that I thought this FTA Dish comparison was
acceptable as the other forums where far more specialized on other topics. I try to follow the
rules.

Esquire you could have posted this in the main fta section to. Mike Kohl runs global cm he has his radio show with ralph black on Wednesday nights. FTA teaches you a lot about science and math how things work in space also on earth.

Interesting reading, I had not seen this before. Thanks for posting.

I have 3 Primestar dishes. One 1m round and two 84Es. Back in 2006 there were probably a few left out there to find for recycling for FTA. Non existent in my area these days.
