Dish Box to Different Button?

I've broken my dish button on my remote. One is on order, but until it arrives, can you program the dish box to work with a different button (AUX-VCR???).

Its a pain actually having to get up to change the channel!

The receiver can be set up on the AUX button.

The instruction manuals for the remote cover the programming process in the section labeled "PROGRAMMING THE REMOTE TO CONTROL A SECOND RECEIVER IN AUX MODE".
