USB to an Android device. Apple does not allow this type of connection to their iOS device.Huh. What's that "OUTPUT" port on the HopperGo?

Oh No! Touch screen remote? I thought that died with the terrible attempt with the 922. So we are losing the fantastic form of the current remotes with the Hopper 3? That stinks big time!
That is fantastic news. Thanks. The current 40.0 remotes will work with the H3.
Well that would mean it should be no problem For Wallys and The Hopper 3 then no?There is the Wally now Vivek just told me something very about it, when used with a new Hybrid LNB you can hook up up to 16 Wally's with just one wire from the LNB. ( and using cable splitters) this is great for commercial uses and cuts down install time big time.

Isn't there 3 ports on the New LNB, why couldn't you just run 2 lines then?
I could Have 2 Wallys, a Hopper 3 and 3 4K joeys.
Right all from the same LNB?
I don't want to give my elderly mother Joeys.

That stinks, and If I get a Hopper 3, they won't allow my 211z anymore?I don't think so, as I believe that Scott said that once you plug the Hopper 3 in, the new LNB no longer runs in the mode that is needed for the Wally (or other legacy receivers). I can't remember if that is the "x" band or "z" band.

I'm going to put up another Dish then.I believe they're still going to be allowed, just not on the same dish.

I have a 1000.4, I just need a New lnb, and I'll hook my 211 to it.
But I wonder what Dish will say when they come to hook up the Hopper3?

Not for the older folks in my family. They find the current remotes very confusing and are excited about the new remotes and voice search (Android and Amazon FireTV with voice search work great). They really like how the numbers are not visible unless they need them. When they were younger, the current remote was not a big problem, but it is to them now! Mom can't wait for the new remotes. She likes what she has seen so far and really wants voice search because she can't handle the current search process on current remotes. This is the old EZ remote, which never interested them, but a slimmed down design that has sophisticated capabilities. That's what they (my old folks) want.Oh No! Touch screen remote? As under the RV arrangement. I thought Scott said a separate account if at home (with a Hopper 3 install at home), but I suppose there are ways to make it work at home.I believe they're still going to be allowed, just not on the same dish.
