It would be hard to read that alert when you can’t even get to that screen to begin with...I agree, it does seem like Dish could put up a " Known problem..." screen on DA to alert us that it's a system wide problem, not something on our end.
Yep. Just spent a half hour deinstalling, Reseting, soft reboot, hard reboot etc. and told my niece "maybe we need a newer Firestick".Same issue on Firestick

But do they actually track who actually uses DishAnywhere and keeps their email in that tracking or should they email the entire tens of millions of subs that may or may not actually use DishAnywhere to make sure that everyone is covered and confuse the vast majority of those that have no idea what they might be talking about. Wasted hours of my time fooling with and reinstalling the android app along with losing stored programs. Poor communications from a supposed comms company.I have the same issue on my Android tablet. I spent the morning troubleshooting and still can't launch the app. I then called Dish and spent 20 minutes on hold. Finally got a tech who told me that they know all about this issue and are expecting a software release within the next 24 hours to fix this.
I also asked why Dish won't proactively let customers know that there is a potential issue that they are addressing rather than let us waste our time going through all this troubleshooting for nothing. Of course they have no answer for this.
