Dish 625 dvr

I want to copy some dvr recordings and some vhs tapes to a dvd burner. Would I be able to use either the "Pinnacle Systems Dazzle DVD Recorder" or the "Pinnacle Systems PCTV HD Stick USB 2.0 TV Tuner with PVR" to accomplish this? What are the pros and cons of either? I really don't need the pvr but the HD tuner would be nice.

If you use HD hardware to capture recordings off of a receiver that is not producing HD then your not going to get HD recorded content on your computer. You can use those computer capture programs to record your content to the computer, external hard drive, dvd burner, etc.
