ooppss my bad must be my old agePretty sure he meant the new 50 remote , which isn't available yet.
The 50 remote is what lets you do voice search. The 52 remote that comes stock with the H3 can't do the voice stuff.
I was told by the rep I talked to when I upgraded to the H3 that I would get a free 50 when they came out. About a week or two later I talked with another rep via chat and asked about the free remote and she also said I would get one when it came out.
Let's see how true that rings when it comes out. Not saying it isn't true, just don't believe anything anyone says until it happens.
I did print out a copy of my chat session when I was told I would get a free 50. Not sure how much good that will do me.
Curious to know when you upgraded? I plan on getting on for free one way or another, but if I don't have to work for it, that'll be even better!
I called Dish the end of January and it was installed in the first week of February.
Has there been any information released as to whether the remote will work with joeys or only hopper 3? The 4K Joey specifically has the power to support it, just curious.

Seems like you should be able to pair it with any of them, just like the 52. Not sure if the voice search would work on anything but the H3, though.
Hopefully that's the case. Honestly I wish a voice feature was included on the 52.0. I have no interest in using a touch pad, but I really would use the voice function.

I think I read, somewhere, that the voice feature would work on the Joeys as well....
Netflix works on the Joeys currently. Had to yell at my daughter last night for watching too much.
Is the 50.0 (voice) remote available for purchase yet, or any word on when? Seems like I haven't heard anything in a while.
