Finally plugged our 211K into the home LAN to free up a phone jack and now the LG Blu-ray player shows it as a DLNA server. Selecting it produces "Media server access is not permitted" however.
Of course, since the 211 doesn't have any mass storage it has nothing to serve, unless it was whatever channel it was currently tuned to. I don't have any spare USB drives to use to activate the receiver as a DVR to see what would happen then.
The 722 receiver doesn't show up at all.
The other odd thing is that a program I have that attempts to ID the maker of network products by way of their MAC address says that the 211 is made by "Echostar," but the 722 is made by "Sling Media."
