DiSEqC to 36v drive converter.

I stumbled onto this link while reading about Diseqc Protocol. It contains a schematic and code to build a Diesqc to 36 volt converter (for old motor positioners?) I don't know if anyone might be interested in this. Maybe this is old news? Maybe you can buy a converter more cheaply than building one? Maybe no one uses this type of positioner oner anymore?
