Since Rutgers is now in the big 10..would it be possible to add big ten to NYC market before college football season starts? We have no rsn's and this would be nice

I'm not sure who makes the decisions on what states get what channels. I don't know if Dish gets to make that choice or not.

Personally I would just start a chat and mention this. If no offer comes make a little ruckus about it being stupid to not have it included in your area (which it is) and an offer should come. At this point I doubt the coverage area changes quick enough to get it by next weekend.

If all else fails pull the no NY RSN card

A few years ago when Nebraska joined the B1G Dish added the network for the state of Nebraska just a couple days before the football season kicked off if I remember correct. I am sure you will get it.

If you look at this thread from 2011 as a reference the network was added for Nebraska on Dish on Sept 1. If memory servers there were no Aug games that year but I may be wrong. I did have a bunch of posts in that thread when the situation was about the same for the Huskers. Post #83 shows the press release from Dish and the B1G that came out a few days before it was on.
