i have a direcway lnb with a frequency range of 10.95-12.75 ghz
i know it is linear and also know that it is capable of vertical and horizontal polarization because i have installed these systems for many years and have used both polarities on several different linear tps on differant sats
i had assumed that it was probably a universal lnb with 2 local oscillators switched by a 22khz tone.
now i am not so sure, the only other lnbs i could find with this frequency range are these ones, Norsat 1107HEF Ku-Band (10.95 - 12.75 GHz) PLL LNB
Norsat 1107HEF Ku-Band (10.95 - 12.75 GHz) PLL LNB
they say they have one LO at 10000 mhz
that would put the IF at 950-2750 mhz!!
and this one, atrexx || Wide-band LNBs | EP-RX3
it says that it has two LOs that are voltage switched
all i could find about this one in particular is this in a post in another forum,
"The frequency range is 10.95 - 12.75 GHz, using two local oscillators 9.75 and 10.6 GHz selected using 22 kHz tone."
anyone know anything about these lnbs?
thanks,
Denny
