If thinking of getting this .....DIRECTV - HUMAX With Built-in DIRECTV Receiver

My questions are
1 Does anyone have this Tv?
2 Does it work with other equipment, like DVD players?
3 Does it have a built in HD receiver,or is it a SD receiver?

I'm thinking of buying this for my daughters room to replace her CRT-20" Sanyo. Being able to mount it to the wall and have no receiver sounds like a good Idea.

Only problem I would have with that type of set up would be , the constantly changing rec's that are being used now, if you decide to go to a different rec, can you de-activate the internal one and can you hook up another model to it ?

I thought about that too. It has a D-11 receiver in it now. So its already out of date since there a D-12. Price is kind of steep too.

Yea I decided to stay away. Thats for the Help though.:D

Just to add incase anyone would want to buy one. Pricegrabber.com has them for $360. A lot better the $499 that Humax is selling them for.
Just doesnt seem like a smart move. That thing breaks and you lost a TV and a D* tuner.
