I had a local installer install two HR24 devices on a new install and I'm using the home sharing going over the coax cables in the house. There is also a swim device plugged in as well. Everything works great, no problems at all.
I've read previous threads about if you hook up the ethernet to a hr24 while it's doing home sharing that it breaks the home sharing since the device gets confused on how to connect to the other boxes in the house.
Is this true? Or can I plug in a ethernet to one of the hr24 boxes and use it to do Directv2PC while keeping the home sharing working like it is now?
