What does this thread have to do with Dish Network? It's about a local channel being carried on Direct right now for the hurricane...
CNN, HNN, Fox News, CNBC, MSNBC, TWC are all going live all the time right now until this blows over
Personally, I applaud them for having a few channels dedicated to this type of thing...
I would hope that if anything like this happened where I live that they would too dedicate channels for direct info to the area.
I specifically watched WDSU. because it was available.
No National BS, No fabricating stories, no overhyping to get the viewers, CNN couldn't help falling overthemselves when they heard a levee was breached.
They get there and it's one leak and the locals were there plugging the leak.
WDSU, nothing but local info, they couldn't afford to hype the story, for them they were the story, they didn't swoop in to cover the story and then on to the next human tragedy.
