I wonder if signed deals and the transfer/buyout to Liberty were the major hold ups? After these are there any NFL cities left?

In your similar post on dbstalk, you said April 07 (which is more likely) and end 06 (which is correct). Many people think the delay (as well as delays in adding to existing HD markets) has been caused by a shortage of MPEG4 encoders.

Cmon Jacksonville !!!! Actually they are saying Mar 29th for Jax

With as many problems the HR20 is having with MPEG-4 I don't WANT MPEG-4 locals.:no

I'll stick with my CM4228 and my HD locals OTA, thanks. :D

I just checked directv.com. Greenville, Harrisburg, Jacksonville and Spokane locals are all listed, and it appears they all have all four networks. Next step, reception reports to confirm.

CSR's have been telling my April, so this sounds accurate. However, as I posted in dbs... this will be the 5th date since the annoucement last fall for the Harrisburg region. Hopefully its true!

well - guess what? they are ON. More to follow in 1-2 weeks as posted.
