Hi all,
Maybe this was previously posted, but I hadn't tested it yet. It might interest those of you who speak spanish, want to practice/learn or just like to explore what your receiver is capable of doing.
HBO and Cinemax (SD and HD) offer Spanish Subtitles, to activate is very simple:
(New HDGUI)
1) Go to "menu" - "Settings & Help"
2) Select "Settings" - "Display"
3) Go to "Captioning" and make sure is "on"
4) Set "Digital Track" to "Service 3".
5) Exit
Tune to any HBO or Cinemax channel and you'll see CC in Spanish.
You can select "DirecTV Subtitles" and it will work as if you were watching a DVD or BD with subtitles.
Happy New Year.
