Directv Response Center???

Anyone know what this is? I've received a number of calls that show up as Directv on my caller ID. I am in DC and it is a 410 (MD) number - they never leave a message.

Yesterday I called the number back about 5 mins after they had called me and I got a voice mail saying I had reached the Directv Response Center. I left my name and number and telling them to leave a message if they call back and I'm not there.

The called me as well, about a month ago. I never answered because I didn't recognize the number. But, after calling it back, it went to DirecTV. It all happened shortly after I canceled NFL Sunday Ticket. Perhaps they were trying to get me to sign back up with discounts Next time, I'm gonna answer it!!!

More than likely thats what they wanted.

I know from time to time the will call and offer a Starz or Showtime package or something like that.

Unfortunately, the CID doesn't always say Directv.
