It's only for the Premium channels that you need to call, you get a message to call if you try to do it online.

Exactly, no one seems to note/read that I keep saying Showtime and Cinemax... If you are like me and add and drop the 4 big Premium networks as original series go on and off, you have to CALL them every time.

I should not have to take time out of my day to call in, wait on hold, then get some rehearsed line about the channels.

Why would you call to do that? I've always done it online then re added to get it free.

When I was on a grandfathered plan (Choice Xtra Classic) you couldnt remove it online without changing your plan
Now I am on a MDU plan (multi dwelling unit) of Bulk Choice (Choice package....its included in rent) I still have to do it that way too

Does Dish still require you to call in to remove programming packages and not let you do it online?
