I am in the Caribbean trying to get Jade World on 119. I have 80% signal on 119West, but I do not know what DISH TYPE to select. When I ask for my dish type to be detected, it fails. I am using Samsung SIR-S300W

Autodetect failed. I can not get a signal on 101, but I can point to 110 or 119. Is there another satellite, other than 101, from which I can get my receiver updated?

What receiver can I use to get programming on 95W? Will I also have a similar problem if I can not get 101 and 95 at the same time?

If I can not point to satellite 101, is ther another satellite I can use to get DIRECTV updates and guide downloads on my Directv Receiver?

Is there a software or something I can do to update it manually?

I can get satellite 110 or 119, and also 95W....not 101.

Satrexy...there is no need for multiple threads I am merging the two threads..


Unfortunately there is no other way that I am aware of. How did you even get your receiver activated without seeing 101?
