Hello all,

I have a directv system with a sd dual tuner pvr, and connected to 101 satellite with a 1 meter dish.

Note: due to my location, a 1 meter dish is required to receive the 101 bird.

I would like to add a dual tuner hd receiver, and would like to receive signals from the 99.2 & 102.8 birds

my location is the most easterly part of Nova Scotia, Canada.

My question(s) are:

Does the footprint for these birds hit my location?

If I can get the signals from these birds, How do i wire up the new hd receiver and in conjunction with the present sd pvr?

would like to hear from anyone in eastern Nova Scotia or Newfoundland,
who are receiving directv HD programming.

thanks in advance & happy Holidays
Ron

Since the 99 and 103 sats are so close, I see no problem with the footprint in your area.
However, you'll need a new dish and whether that dish will give you enough signal is for someone else to answer.

Good luck with this issue scoobieshouse, as I'm looking to return to DTV in '09 and hopefully the HD route - I'm in Newfoundland.
