DirecTV HD Orbital Slots

Which slots would I need to have view of to get my SD and HD programming.....NOT including sports packages? I've heard from 99, 101, 103, 110 and 119. Then I'm seeing just 99, 101 and 103. Can anyone give me some solid info? I live in Seattle, WA my zip is 98106.

Unless you need some international program package then all you'll need is te 99/101/103 satellites for all your SD and HD programming.

Sorry but, I have to ask? Are you certain? Then why is D* telling me 5 orbital slots? I don't do sports or international. LOL, if all I need is 99/101/103 then the dish wouldn't be that big and I'm sure I can get it on a tripod.

Until recently they've been installing a 5LNB that needs 99/101/103/110/119 but now they have a new LNB that needs only 99/101/103, see DIRECTV AU9-SL3-B Three LNB Ka/Ku Slim Line Dish Antenna w/ Long and Short Brace and SL-3 LNB Combo (AU9-SL3-B) | AU9-SL3-B [DIRECTV Slim Line] | SLSP-F SLSPF DTV-AT9LB DTV-AT9-SB AU9-SL3-B DTVAT9LB DTVAT9SB DTV-AT9JMOUNT AU9-SL3-B DTVAT9JMOUNT J MOU . But if you're looking for a smaller dish, doesn't matter both the 5LNB and the 3LNB use the same exact dish, just the LNB is different.

Not necessarily. There are tripods designed for the Slimline dish. Check Solid Signal | Digital Converter Boxes, DIRECTV® Systems, HDTV Antennas, DISH Network, satellite equipment and home entertainment supplies & accessories. They have some one their website. Look for ones that can fit a 2" mast.
