Directv dual tuners?

I heard directv is soon to come out with dual tuners simular to the dishnets dual tuners. is this true?

I hope so and I hope in the process that they will also waive the additional outlet fees. If they do this then DirecTv will have an advantage because the additional outlet fee would no longer make up for the DVR fee they charge per receiver instead of per account. I could go to DirecTv and pay the same monthly as I do with Dish annually.
