DirecTV dish with Dish Pro LNB?

Is it possible to use a dish pro dual lnb with a directv dish using a y-adapter to pick up a single sat, or would that mess up the focal point? I ask because i happen to have a few spare parts and would like to use them to pick up another bird. Thanks
