The newer ones yes, but my first D* was a sat b3, and I chose it after installing them, because I prefered them over the hughes and RCA POS's. Now, when that B3 when out, I replaced it with a sat b65a, and I was very dissapointed to learn that it was, in fact, a POS rebadged Gaebo. At the time, I think I was installing HBHSA's and found them to be superior to the uber-crappy gaebo.

The satb3 lasted from late 99 to early 2003. The b65a lasted from mid 2003 to late 2004 before it died a gaebo death.

Those Sonys are rocks, at least mine were. All 4 were still working; 2/Sony SAT-A2 and 2/SAT-A4 up to replacing them for 2 HD boxes (LG LSS-3200A and Zenith SAT HD520) along with 2 HNS HAH-SA.
