Thus far no one at DTV has been able to suggest anything... I have the DTV app on three different devices - ipad 3, ipad 5, and samsung s6 edge. I have an HR44.
When you go to register the device, the app says "could not activate DVR for downloading or streaming please try again (100)".
The app sees the HR44, because I can use the app as a remote and I see the playlist.
I have reset the HR44 numerous times, and deleted and reloaded the app on all three devices mulitple times.
I have forwarded ports 8088 and 8089 for the IP address of the HR44.
All devices and the HR44 are on the same wireless network, and I have tried hard wiring ethernet directly into the HR44 and the results are the same.
I have done a google search for this issue and it seems that others have this problem but there does not appear to be a solution. I am hoping there is one here.
