Hey guys just a quick question. With a lot of issues I have had with Dish this week trying to get my 622 fixed me and my wife sat down and looked at what was being offered from D* and I am curious as a person with very low vision how accessible and easy are D* RCVR's to use. I had D* back about 13 years ago, but had much better sight then I do now not to mention how simple the RCVR's were back then also. Any help would be awesome... CC

There are no options in the DirecTV setup to help the vision impaired. Once you get familiar with the operation of the receiver, it's quite straight forward with common controls.

I'd connect it to the largest TV possible if that would help.

I would think, if you were good working with the DISH Network set up you would probably be good with the D* set up as well.

Thanks guys... I will keep that in mind.... For now it looks like Dish will be keeping my business. Had a 622 that had issues with HD not working and with the replacement RCVR they sent there was issues that Dish kept giving me the run around with, but finally was resolved (For Now) Once gain thanks for the response...
