DirecTv and Sam's Club

I want to switch to DirecTv. Has anyone used the Sam's Club discount? Can you get the discount through DirecTv.com or do you have to go through the club or call? Can it be stacked with the promos and a referral discount?

Generally for a discount like that you have to call the dedicated number for that company. Sam's club is just advertising it and collecting a cut for each signup, you're signing up with Directv through a dedicated number.

Generally, retail offers like that cannot be combined with referrals, but would get the regular promotion available to anyone, like what is on the website.

The only extra discount beyond the national promotion I've heard of people getting combined with the referral offer is the AAA discount, and even that is difficult / rare.

Is the Sams Club promo better than the extra $100 off via referrals? You can see the regular national promo right on directv.com to compare.

The Sam's discount is $10 off a month for 6 months for regular members and 12 months for plus members. I am a regular member so the referral would be better for me. Although both would be good.

I signed up through sams got all the other promos did not get a referal discount but I didn't try .

I did get an extra ten dollars for paperless billing u have to sign up for that online. Before the install
