Directv and contract when fees change

I know when you sign up you get an intro rate but then it goes up to the predetermined rate BUT if the rate goes up like the DVR or HD fee and even the regular package fee is the 2 year contract void or what?

No it is not. the agreement you signed says, they have the right to raise rates with or without warning. You ALWAYS have the right to cancel, but be prepared to pay early termination fees.
