Directv... Activating and using with 119 only.

Hi....

I just need a couple of channels on DTV at 119. Due to a very narrow line of sight I can only get 119, but not 101.

Wil I be able to activate the service with the dish looking at just one satellite (119)? , and will the guide be downloaded?

Nope, your revceiver will need 101W regardless your intention and number of satellites.
It always boot system tables from 101W.

The guide actually comes from both 101 and 119, but initial setup is from 101. And software downloads come from 101 also, so it's basically impossible to have a DirecTV installation without line of sight to 101.
