directtv newbie question

I just ordered direct tv, and when i look only it shows cincinatti locals for my local channels, doesn't direct have dayton locals?

if they don't have them then i'm gonna have to cancel

also what hd dvr will i likely get?

it is possible you will have cincinatti locals... direct maps their locals in a weird way, usually the closest major city to you, it would be best to ask a friend near you that has direct.... as far as hddvr it depends what your local hsp has in stock from direct most right now have the hr23

Yes, D* has Dayton Locals available , in HD too.
2, 7, 16, 22, 26 and 45 .

yes i entered my zipcode it listed cincy locals, however when i called direct they said i would get dayton locals.


what is the dif between the hr21 and the hr23?

the direct tv website only shows the 21...

If your in Dayton, you will get your Dayton locals, in HD too.

Don't know how much difference there is between the 21 and 23, probably the hard drive is slightly larger in one.
