What is the maximum number of receivers of I can run off a standard direct tv sat. dish ?? Thanks, Russ

A standard dish = 1
A standard dish with a dual LNB = 2
A standard dish with dual LNB & multi-switch = many (I would never drive more than 6 in a typical home with this)

None of the standard setups will allow HD, foreign channels, and some locals depending on your DMA. For these you need the updated PhaseIII dish.

A PhaseIII dish = 4
A PhaseIII dish & appropriate switch = many (I would never drive more than 6 in a typical home with this)

charper,

why never more than 6?

with a cascadable spaun system, 128 are possible.

hell with a powered 2X16 , well 16 are do-able

ive never had a problem as long as the correct multiswitch and power pack is used
