Direct TV splitting

I currently have a H21-100 receiver. What are my options for splitting this with another TV in my basement. I don't care if it has the same channel or not. Thank you
 
You might be best off using component cables to the primary tv and hdmi to the basement.
 
If you go the component or composite cable route, you'll also need the audio connection.

Yes, and they are easier to run to the nearby tv as opposed to the one in the basement.
 
One overlooked method, no wires at all, wireless. I am using a Brite View wireless HDMI system. It works very well.

Looks like an interesting solution, but VERY expensive at $400. It would take 6 1/2 years to break even verses paying for an additional box @ $5 a month. With the additional box, you also get to watch any channel you want verses being tied to the "Master" box.
