Direct TV Signal

Can Someone help me? I have direct TV equiptment and I want go to Mazatlan Mexico for a few weeks in my R.V., Will I need a bigger dish or will my Direct TV even work there? I was told I might need a biger dish. Thank you.

A bigger dish MAY get you a usable signal, but that location is well outside of the footprint of the beam shown on the satmaps at the top of the page.

Im being told I would be way outside the foot print. Do you know anything about Dish Network and if it woud work in Mazatlan?

I would say that it would NOT work any better than D*...

Dish has a new sat that pretty much cuts off at the border so it wont work
