Is it possible to receive direct tv in cabo san lucas. I have an older receiver from previous service and would like to know if it will pick up a signal there. Help please.

The new DirecTV satellites seem to be "tightening" the beams onto the CONUS. Your best bet is to use a C/Ku system or a legitimate DBS service directed at, and marketed to Mexico (or that region in general) like DirecTV LA or Sky Mexico.
