I have had a Direct TV Hughes TiVo DVR - 40 for several months now. Originally the unit was connected to the phone lines via a wireless unit without a problem.
I was under the impression that the unit would have to be connected directly to a wall jack for the on Screen Caller ID to work. Therefore, I have now arranged to have a jack installed for the DVR but caller ID is not working and I can find no setting in the setup menu to activate caller ID.
Anyone have any ideas? Or was I just delusional that the Hughes Tivo DVR-40 could do this?
