I Have a DirecTV DVR and the whole system has worked great for years. The last three weeks, I get Audio Dropouts, Program Freeze ups and Random Reboots. Weather has been good. Occasional light clouds.
Audio drop outs occur about every 60 seconds. Occassionaly, there will be video drop outs (pixelation). Two to three times a day, the DVR play back will freeze and the Remote can not escape from the frozen screen. I have to do a power recycle reboot to recover and than wait for the bootup.
Also experience 3 or more random re-boots during an evening.
When there are no problems, the video is sharp and audio is great. I can run the audio channels with no dropout at all.
Any ideas - I am ready to drop kick this sat dish and the box out the window.
