Direct entry of local DT on 811 remote

I looked all over the 811 user guide and found no info on how to do a direct entry on a local DT station like 4-1 or 21-2 . My H-10 D* box has a dash button so I can just enter 4 dash 1 and go right to my local DT station. Is there a way to do this on my 811 ?

It will work...if you want 4-1, for instance, enter it like this: 00401

21-2 would be entered 02102

Fisrt, have you scanned or entered the channel in the menu option "Add DTV"?

After the channel is in the receiver's memory, enter the three number major channel, followed by the two number minor channel.

As was said above, channel 7-02 would be 00702.

If you have favorites enabled, make sure the channels are in the avorite list, or cycle through the "Guide" button until you are on the "All Sub" list.
