I just got in my DirecPC dish with it's feedhorn. It looks like it is a linear H/V feedhorn (it has 2 pins inside it, bolted to a C120 flange.

Will this LNB work or did they do something to it so it won't work for FTA? If not, I am assuming a standard C120 LNB will bolt right up to it? (I'm thinking invacom!)

yes and yes

Yes the LNB will work (I have 2 of these dishes)

yes a C120LNB will work on that flange

Mine works just fine. I'm sure yours is linear, so it should work. As far as I know, which isn't a whole lot, all the one-way or two-way are linear. I haven't heard of any being on the DBS frequencies yet, besides, that would take up there (D* & E*) much needed space.

so they didn't do anything goofy with it? 13/18v etc etc?

Does the dish get good signal? I am planning on G10R with it.

That dish, coupled with my new Andrew I just got in, I'm going to be golden ;)

I still have 2-3 of these DirecPC dish, if you do ever decide to upgrade the LNB for a new Invacom low noise its a good idea to keep/use the feed horn that comes with the dish and just replace the LNB. The feed horn has been designed specifically for the shape of this dish :)

wow im very new to fta i have a couple of these dishes i was about to throw away on ebay now ill just keep them!!!thanks!!!!
