Diplexer and Amp Question

In order to get a good OTA signal I had to put my antenna upstairs. The signal goes through the coax system in the house and to a main box in the basement. The sat signal also comes in there. I did a test and found I don't get a very good signal without an amp. With an amp I'm in the low 90's.

Now I need to diplex both the OTA and sat signals on the same line to the HD box. From there I'll have another diplexer split the two apart. I have a few questions.

1. Where in the line do put the amp? Before the first diplexer or after I split the two apart? I am using this one.

2. Will 2 of these diplexers do the job? I know they are a LOT cheaper online, but to honest I'm tired of messing with the OTA signal and just want to resolve it ASAP.

From previous posts you don't have the AT9 dish so until you upgrade to it you can use diplexers. The best place for the amplifier is as close to the TV antenna as possible before any signal degredation takes place. The amplifier you have chosen may give you some trouble with UHF tv signals. It is listed as a cable amplifier but I didn't see frequencies listed, cable is lower than some UHF channels. At 10dB a 4 way splitter just about wipes out the amplification, it maybe a little weak.
