Looking for a nice review of this once you get it hooked up.

Not much bigger than the remote, is it? haha Waiting for your review, put it through its paces! Find one of those 29270SR feeds tonight and see if it works properly.

No serial port, I wonder if it has a TTL header for rescue operations if ever necessary.

Not sure will have to check when i pop the top.

Unit was in PAL mode "BOO"

The remote is like the geosatpro expect it seems to be a flat black color and not the marble black and the power button does not light up.

What's the blind scan speed like?

4:2:2 not sure yet. Price I would guess around $100-$120

Last night I noticed they were on Amazon Canada (only) for $139 Canadian. The more advanced unit that incorporates a network media player was like $379 Canadian if I remember rightly.

Dam that's crazy high if u ask me.

About the same as an AZbox or the Optibox Raptor, which have similar functions. (But there are other boxes from Optibox, plus the Spark 7162 line such as the Amiko Alien2, which are cheaper.)

The thing I don't know about the media player model is what OS it runs.

Please let us know if the Digiwave displays 4:2:2 properly.

Here's the other box it runs Linux so I hope I can get SSH access.

It sounded too good to be true. Lol

Digiwave is well known over here to lie in the specs of their products in order to make them better than what they really are. This is why I told you in the other thread to not get your hopes up about these receivers supporting 4.2.2. Up until I complained several times, they were selling their 85cm x 93cm dish as 39" but this is actually only a 36 inch dish as a 39" dish would be 90cm x 99cm.

Can't wait to see what they say. Got to love people who lie. I asked them 3 times and the last time I sent the post that satav made and the manager replied and said it would decode CBS 4:2:2

I don't want to burn a bridge with them but I hate when people lie to get a sale.
