There are many digital tv stations (aka: locals) in the big cities and states. Right now, viewers depending on which city/state can get digital station using a tv converter box or an antenna from a LCD/Plasma. Some cable companies had stated adding digital stations onto its lineup.

Will any digital tv stations be added onto Direct TV, Dish Network or any sat company in the near future????

Directv has already switched to using digital feeds for the SD stations. This was done over the past year or so in preparation for the original Feb. 17 analog shutdown date. I don't think there are many (if any) subchannels being carried, however.

On the digital signal, there are many sub channels depending on what city you live in.

There isn't enough bandwidth to carry all of the subchannels. OTA is the way to go for them.
