Diesel fuel prices

I think this thread is needed to go along with unleaded gas prices.

Diesel in the Athens GA area is running around $2.77

Good point, Van. There are plenty of people that use diesel in their trucks and cars.

I just filled up at 2.59.9 in Macon, Georgia yesterday.

It swings wildly around Athens from $2.90 down to $2.70, I will be able to post gas prices and diesel prices along the 75 corridor next week as I am going north to Michigan for a few days to see my little girl and her mom.

Prices ran from $2.70 down to $2.50 up and down I-75 from Atlanta to Detroit.

It was $2.75 a gallon the other day in valdosta ga. Yet gas is $2.09 a gallon there. Good thing i got rid of my diesel

$2.44 at Kangaroo on 29 north of the loop in Athens GA next to Mclanes distribution center.

With all of the aftermarket products out today for diesel vehicles you can increase the mileage per gallon of your car or truck considerably, and if you have the inclination you can make your own biodiesel and really end up saving alot on fuel and the enviroment more so, not mention smell like a french frier.
