Pretty simple question. Did you get anything FTA related for Christmas?

Yes
No
No...but the "straight cash homey" (Randy Moss line) I got will go towards FTA stuff
I already got a FTA item as a early Christmas Present

I voted no, but I actually ordered a Torodial T90P from Sadoun, along with several other items. It's on back order, they said about 3 weeks, got my fingers crossed.

Hahaha, I thought that was a typo..

I voted NO... Unless you wanna call the $175.00 I'm gonna PayPal a local guy in a few minutes for a 6' stationary mesh, Toshiba TRX-80 analog receiver, delivery and set up this Saturday.. Then yes but, no Christmas money is involved..

I got a new blanket, though...

The wife bought me a very nice progammable remote, the MX-500, that is capable of doing macros, etc. (on a par with the logitech harmony). Way cool, and totally unexpected :)

Wife said I could go ahead and buy a DVB World Box before Christmas, so I did. It's awesome! I love it.

That's a good Remote, have had mine for a year now and works great !!:up
So far I really like my MX-500, it was fairly easy to set up and is real nice to use. I have 8 devices (TV, DVB STB, 4DTV, DVD, VCR, Audio reciever, cd player, tape deck) the mx-500 will be running, and it only took me about 45 minutes to program it. Unfortunately it did not have IR codes for my pansat, but 3 minutes later I had all the buttons programmed in, the "learn" function works great ;) Next to start teaching it some macros.....

I actually got part of my Christmas a couple of months ago, and bought a brand new in the box US Electronics Legacy receiver (Drake 1524 private label).

The rest of the money I got on Christmas day, I already ordered a Technisat Skystar 2 DVB-S Satellite PCI card which will arrive on Tuesday.

But the best news is that my wife has given me the go ahead and the money to order a Traxis DBS3500, SG2100, 50MM tube and DiSEqC switch to set up my other NIB Primestar 84e for her and the family which will arrive today.

The best Christmas present will be pulling the plug on DN in a couple of weeks and the family being totally FTA. :D

So much for the "PCB", Fred....

Dropping DN will start paying for all the FTA stuff you've bought..

What's your plan for the HH120 ? Figured you had everything covered by now with your new toroidal setup.

Upgrading form a SG2100/30" to HH120/36" dish for motorized
Even though I have a T90, still need a motorized to fill in the spots (87,89,95,123,113,116.8,129 and the DBS stuff) :)

Xmas Gift

My gift to myself was a new QS1080IRCI Quali-TV Satellite Receiver.
I am looking forward to seeing what it can do, but first I have to figure out how to integrate it into my current system.

Happy New Year to All!
